What's It All About!
Greetings & Salutations my fellow Labers. I welcome you to SYB Labs!
A Brief Intro About Me
I’m Suleman Yousaf Bhatti (SYB), a passionate Content/Copy/YouTube Scriptwriter (that’s a lot of slashes there) and more recently, a no-code web developer and X (Twitter) Content Strategist from Lahore, Pakistan. I can fluently speak Urdu, Punjabi, and English so these languages will be featuring on my blog, more often than not.
Okay, so, I’m a whole lotta excited to share this journey of sorts. In short, this space is all about my 2 cents on everything I learn or come across in both my professional and personal life.
Of course, it’s all going to be from my heart and not just from any tool (ehm ehm AI or the likes) so I can only try to be consistent because I have a job and have 2 angelic daughters (angelic not all the time, but that’s not the point).
Writing is something that I always enjoyed doing. It all started when I heard someone (don’t remember who) writing down a few jingles for “Vicky Razai” comforters.
I still remember that ad from the late 90s or something where a kid says to his mother, “Ammi, Ammi, Ek Baat Batain?” in Urdu, meaning being, mother, mother, tell me one thing. And his mother responds by saying, “Kya bhei kya?” as in what is it?
I used to sing that song to my mom whenever she took out blankets and comforters for winter in Lahore. That “Vicky-Razai” jingle was my first-ever exposure to any form of COPY.
I guess I’m pretty old, but the point is that my love for copy is as old as I am.
Still, “copy” isn’t where it all started for me. I began with content writing and creating articles, product reviews, and blog posts on various topics and products.
More recently, I’ve also dabbled with writing scripts for YouTube videos. I entered the field of writing as an academic writer (not too proud of that line of work, though). But I’ve been into writing for quite some time now.
I’ve always loved jotting down my thoughts, it’s been a passion of mine since my school days. However, things have changed recently.
Of course, I have kids now and elderly parents as well. Balancing my writing career with family life hasn’t been easy. Between taking care of my kids and other family responsibilities, I’ve had to learn to manage my time efficiently (still a bit of work in progress).
Writing has always been my escape from life. It’s a way for me to express myself and connect with others. But copywriting is a whole new ball game.
It’s more than just conveying information; it’s about persuading people to take action (pretty much what parents have to do all day with their toddlers).
Whether it’s buying a product or signing up for a service, copywriters can influence people’s decisions.
Now, I might not have a long history of formal copywriting experience, but I’m excited to continue my journey as a copywriter. I believe that my diverse background in writing, combined with my passion for creating compelling content, will help me succeed.
As I embark on this new chapter, I’m confident that I can bring a unique perspective to the world of copywriting.
I’m a self-starter who learns quickly and adapts fast. Most importantly, I’m a persistently persuasive individual (thanks to my two adorable daughters). In other words, this copywriting dad is ready to take on any challenge and deliver exceptional results.
So, What’s SYB Labs?
It’s my space, arena, playground (or whatever the heck you want to call it) to work on different projects, including different forms of writing and web design and the tools and applications that I use to accomplish them.
It’s about sharing my two cents and whatever I learn along the way. I may be right or wrong and anyone can agree or disagree with it.
The goal here is to share my insights to achieve something whether it be a no-code website, a copywriting project, an AI tool, a certain life experience, or anything else.
I’m doing all this just to learn the different forms of content creation and share what I got from it. SYB Labs is where learning and creativity intersect.
Here, I’ll dive into the fascinating world of no-code web development, various types of writing, and the myriad of tools and applications that make it all possible.
Whether you’re here for practical tutorials, tool reviews, or just to follow my personal journey, I hope you find something valuable.
Exploring “No-Code” Web Development
No-code or zero-code web development is among the most exciting areas of technology today. It democratizes web design, making it accessible to anyone with a vision.
Through my tutorials, we’ll go through creating functional and aesthetically pleasing websites without writing a single line of code. From setting up your first WordPress site to customizing it with the latest plugins, we’ll cover it all.
Mastering the Art of Content Creation
As a content/copy/YT scriptwriter, I understand the power of words. Whether you’re crafting a blog post, a marketing copy, or a YouTube script, the right words can make all the difference.
I’ll share the tricks and techniques I use in my professional life. This is what I’ve learnt and I’m happy to share. Furthermore, I’ll explore the intricacies of creating engaging YouTube scripts that capture and hold your audience’s attention.
Tools & Applications
We live in the digital age and the right tools can significantly enhance productivity and creativity.
I’ll try out different tools and applications (that I use at my work) and share what I have learned in the form of blog posts and videos.
From AI writing assistants to graphic design tools and stuff, I’ll discuss how to leverage these technologies effectively.
My Learning Journey
This blog isn’t just about tutorials and reviews; it’s also my personal journal. I’ll share my learning experiences, the challenges I face, and the successes I achieve.
My aim is to create an open and honest monologue where I show what I do and maybe you can learn something from it.
Whether I’m discussing a new tool I’m experimenting with or reflecting on a recent project, you’ll get an inside look at my journey.
Final Thoughts
TLDR: Well it’s my space where I’ll be writing about different stuff that I experienced in my life, the stuff that I liked, the stuff that pissed me off, and whatnot.
You’re welcome to join me (otherwise, take a hike!).
Follow my blog for detailed articles and subscribe to my YouTube channel for visual tutorials (no pressure). Time to create some content.
